Iheanacho Undergoes Medicals at West Ham After £24m Bid

West Ham FC are inching very close towards finally grabbing the services of Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City. Iheanacho is a target for the Hammers as Slaven Bilic looks to add to his attacking options this summer.

It is believed that a deal has been struck for the 20-year-old to move to the London Stadium. A £24m bid is said to have been accepted for Iheanacho, who scored for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a 1-1 draw against Corsica in an international friendly in France.

A deal for Iheanacho would follow hot on the heels of Pablo Zabaleta’s move being confirmed after the Argentine’s two-year deal with the Hammers was finalised Friday afternoon. Some reports have claimed Zabaleta played a key role in convincing the Nigerian starlet to join him in trading the Etihad for the London Stadium, with Iheanacho unlikely to receive many first-team chances at City.
