It Seems Pogba’s Man Utd Shirt Number Has Already Been Decided, See Reason Why Here
Anthony Martial’s change to the No.11 jersey created a lot of talk among Red Devils fans, but it was the unassigned No.6 which caused the most excitement
Before now, it was reported that Manchester United are delaying Jersey number because of they are waiting for the arrival of Paul Pogba that has been the talk of Transfer so far. Now, Manchester United created quite a buzz when they released their provisional shirt numbers for the 2016-17 campaign, but it was one digit that was not assigned to any player that generated most excitement.
Anthony Martial’s switch to No.11 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic taking the No.9 were noteworthy on the list, but it was the No.6 – or lack thereof – which had United fans chatting.
The Red Devils are likely to bring an end to a long transfer saga in the coming days by signing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, having agreed a €110 million fee for the 23-year-old.
And United’s unveiling of their squad numbers ahead of the new campaign has convinced fans that the France international will be taking the No.6 jersey.
