BBNaija 2020: Check out The First 10 Housemates (Photos, details)
Big Brother Naija, 2020 kicked off tonight with the housemates
battling for N85 million worth of prizes as announced earlier by the
organizers.
The 20 housemates will be staying at the Big Brother House for the
next 10 weeks to entertain TV viewers across Africa and beyond.
Here are the the 20 housemates that will make you stay glued to your TV screen all through the 10 weeks:
1. Ozo
Consultant and entrepreneur Ozoemena “Ozo” Chukwu (27), is from Imo
State. One of his greatest achievements is working with a UEFA
Federation in Europe. It is no surprise then that when he is not busy
consulting or managing his urban clothing line, you’ll find him
analysing sports and watching documentaries and TV shows.
2. Vee
Victoria “Vee” Adeyele (23) is a musician based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Vee, as she is affectionately known, was born and raised in London and
moved to Lagos almost a year ago to begin her music career where she has
already made great strides.
3. Prince
Nelson Enwerem Prince (24) is an entrepreneur from Abia. A
jack-of-all-trades whose portfolio includes modelling, fashion designing
and interior decoration. He enjoys active sports and reading about
ancient religions and African history. He’s a graduate of pure physics
from the University of Calabar and is currently living in Lagos.
4. Lilo
Boluwatife “Lilo” Aderogba (23) is a dietitian from Lagos, Nigeria.
Lilo, as she prefers to be known, is also an entrepreneur and describes
herself as “a product of God’s grace”.
5. Lucy
Lucy Essien is a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos. Though she is a
self-proclaimed simple girl and assures everyone that she is far from
average. She believes in fairy tales, and hopefully, Biggie’s House will
deliver just that for her.
6. Trikytee
Timmy Sinclair is a 35-year-old creative artist and Lagos resident
who hails from Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Tricky Tee as he is also known
considers himself a storyteller who uses the mediums of film, and music
to express himself.
7. Dorathy
Dorathy Bachor is a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos. She believes
she is the only one who should make you smile. Her sassiness will
definitely prove to be an asset in Biggie’s house.
What new habit or skill did you acquire during lockdown? I can sleep for
more than four hours. I also discovered the ability to adjust to a new
environment quickly.
8. KiddWaya
Terseer Kiddwaya (27) is self-employed and comes from Benue State.
Being a Big Brother Naija season 5 Housemate has Kiddwaya anticipating a
better and crazier 2020. He describes himself as confident, good
looking, ambitious, a daredevil who is highly motivated. It is no
surprise then that “bringing back the fun into the House” is what he
won’t compromise on this season.
9. Praise
Praise Nelson is a 28-year-old dancer from Enugu. Not new to fame or
competing, he was a winner at the K-Pop World Festival, South Korea 2015
and won third place at a national Dance Competition in 2010. He is also
a fitness and personal trainer and a certified Latin ballroom expert.
10. Wathoni
Florence Wathoni Anyansi is a 29-year-old fashion entrepreneur This
multi-talented single mother juggles a fashion business and a parenting
blog. She is also bilingual and speaks and writes in Swahili fluently.
Which housemates made a great first impression with their fashion?
Big Brother Naija Season 9 ‘ No Loose Guard’ has started and this show will have Nigerians glued to their television sets for 72 days.
The show usually begins with an opening ceremony where the contestants introduce themselves. As with everything, first impressions matter, and many people pick their favourites from the first time they appear on the Big Brother Naija stage.

Victoria Uvo
African women often look radiant in yellow. Victoria’s yellow lace miniskirt with a dramatic fabric overlay was a stunning choice; it added drama while maintaining elegance.
Topher
Joseph Bassey aka Topher looked exceptionally handsome in his black agbada. The popular phrase “Yoruba demon” perfectly captures his striking appearance. Ladies, beware!
Mbadiwe twins
These identical twins represented their Igbo culture in a black kaftan paired with ceremonial beads and an Igbo traditional cap usually reserved for chiefs.
Anita Ukah
This gown is a masterpiece that showcases the exceptional talent of Nigerian tailors. She looked like a blossoming purple flower in it.
Action Ben
This agbada is impeccably tailored; its fit, colour, and intricate embroidery create a stunning ensemble.
DJ Flo
DJ Flo certainly made a dramatic entrance into the Big Brother house. Her outfit, featuring a wide, eye-catching hat paired with a cropped jacket and pants, was a bold statement. However, the pants seemed to be a bit too long for the overall look.
Angel

Big Brother Naija housemate Angel has revealed the devastating situation the death of her first boyfriend had on her mental health.
In a chit-chat with other housemates during the brief introduction about herself on Sunday night, Angel disclosed that she was depressed in 2019 after the death of her boyfriend.
According to her, she got depressed after her first boyfriend died in 2019.
She, however, did not disclose what led to his death.
The 21-year-old said: “My ever first boyfriend died in 2019 and it took a toll on my mental health. I started self-harming.
“My quest in finding a place in the world is one of the reasons I ended up here.
“His death got me and I was depressed for some time but I thank God I’m here.
“Coming to Big Brother made me realize my life is not stuck and gave me hope.”
She, however, added that she is single now and ready to be in a relationship.
BBNaija Housemate Angel Said she dropped out of Unilag After Two Weeks
Big Brother Naija Housemate Angel in a chit chat has disclosed the reason she dropped out of the University of Lagos (Unilag) two weeks after the resumption.
The 21-year-old Housemate has said that she dropped out of school because she felt she didn’t belong there and was still confused about what she wanted to do with her life.
“I was at Unilag for two weeks and didn’t go for any lectures, so I dropped out because it was hard for me.
“I was coming from a high school where I was secluded so it was not easy for me.
“I wasn’t into school because I didn’t even know what I wanted to do. So I started self-harming when I was 14 because I was depressed,” Angel said.
She added that she auditioned for BBNaija because it felt like her mates have figured out what they wanted to do and she had not.

where she had her son.
She’s from a family of 12 children. Jackie B promises her fans the
