What we sensed is that it seems Paul Okoye of the defunct Psquare group has subtly reacted to
Peter’s wife Lola’s birthday message to him and his twin.

The twin brothers celebrated their birthday yesterday and in her birthday message, Lola asked God to soften their hearts.

In her birthday message to them, she wrote:

“Peter and Paul dem be one no be two. Happy Birthday guys! I am lost
for words when it comes to your matter. I pray the Almighty God
continues to guide and protect you. I pray that our father in heaven
speaks to you individually and softens your hearts. I celebrate you
today. I love you two. You are both legends.

You are blessed. Your children adore you. We all adore you. God bless
you today and everyday. Peter and Paul dem be one no be two. Happy

Well, it seems her brother in-law wasn’t too cool with the message. He wrote on his IG page:

Today is a special day for Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo, as they celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary.

The couple took to their social media accounts to celebrate their special day, both writing lengthy messages to each other on Instagram.

Peter reminisced on how he met Lola and how much of a positive impact she has had in his life. The singer also reminisced on the battles himself and Lola have fought with people who dislike her.

He remembered how people said his late mum never loved Lola. He stated in his post that blood makes people related but loyalty makes them family. Read what Peter wrote below

Part 2 (last) We’ve been together for over 16years and married for 5yrs. You are still the same woman and I will never forget the day I met you. How you used to book shows for us and all due to the fact that you worked in an agency (FKG2). I remember how our former manager Howie-T used to tell us how nice you were to us getting us shows and all. Today the world doesn’t know all that. Instead they call you Gold digger. Psquare Separation Was Because of Lola Omotayo-Okoye — Peter Okoye Confesses

There is a twist in the split-up story of the Psquare brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye and the new narrative which came from Peter Okoye revealed shocking reason that led to the end of the music group.

While the crisis that led to the end of the Psquare group was brewing, some sources claimed that the Okoye family disliked Lola Omotayo, Peter Okoye’s wife, while others alleged that Jude Okoye, the elder brother and then manager of the twins was responsible for the split.

However a year after the split with the twin brothers launching a solo career, Peter Okoye who turned up for an event in Kenya, disclosed that his twin Paul Okoye disrespects his wife. He added that he opted for the split, because he had to put his wife and children first because of the vow he made on his wedding day.

“In life what we call family value is important. “The fans want Psquare but how many times do you want Psquare to come back and break up.
“We’ve broken up three times and the same issue is still there. So if Psquare is going to come back we need to settle that issue. Psquare might come back, they might not come back.
“I pulled out the plug because I felt the disrespect coming from my family (was) getting too much,”
“There’s something we call marginalisation. Don’t ever be a slave because you want to be family.
“Psquare can only come back if the respect comes 100 percent.
“I don’t disrespect my brother’s wife neither, his family but he does that to me all the time. He’ll insult me and my family in public, on Instagram, and the next minute he’ll wait for me backstage for us to perform together.
“I can’t do that. One thing is for sure, I took a vow to protect my wife and kids the day I got married and I stick to that.”
