You don’t need a church wedding to be married. It isn’t in the scriptures — Reno Omokri

Published

on

In his post on Twitter, Reno Omokri shared his thoughts on the White/Church Wedding.

Reno Omokri stated that a White wedding has a pagan origin and people should emancipate themselves from religious slavery.
He said that a pastor or prophet cannot make marriage holy and the only persons who can do that are the parents of the couple getting married.
He wrote;
“Someone said church wedding is necessary because pastors are God’s representatives on Earth. To that man, my question is this: What are your parents? Devil’s representative? No blessing on Earth is greater than the parent’s blessing. After God, parents
Many people are unmarried, though they are in love because they can’t afford a White Wedding and their parents and church insist on it. Emancipate yourselves from religious slavery. A White wedding has pagan, not Christian origin. You don’t need it!
If not for space I would have listed every marriage in Scripture (about 14). Not a single one involved a church, temple, or synagogue. None involved a pastor, priest or prophet. Isaiah only invited a fellow priest as a WITNESS, not as an OFFICIATOR!
No pastor, priest, or prophet can make your marriage holy. The only persons that can make your marriage holy are your parents. Ask any pastor to open to the verse that gives him and his church authority to marry you. He will start speaking English!
Isaiah was a prophet. When he wanted to marry, all he did was invite 2 witnesses. And immediately the lady became his wife (Isaiah 8:2-3). No ceremony. God made marriage EASY. It‘s humans who made it complicated. The church has no business with the wedding
The power a priest/pastor has to say ‘I now pronounce you man and wife’, comes from man, not God. There is no Scriptural authority for that. God Himself pronounces you married once your parents consent to your union (Gen 2:24). It a family affair!
This is how God defined marriage-“a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one”-Gen 2:24
The ONLY people involved are:
* A man
* A woman
* Parents
No pastor/church is involved! It’s a family affair
In Europe, over the centuries, first the Roman Catholic Church than other breakaway European churches, introduced elaborate white wedding and marketed it as Christian wedding, purely for monetary reasons. A white wedding is more pagan than Christian

* Wedding dress
* Cake
* Wedding ring
* Bridesmaids
* Groomsmen, &
* Bouquet

None of the above is necessary for a Christian wedding. They are all European cultures. Africans were brainwashed to see White Wedding as Christians’s wedding. It is NOT!!!
Church has absolutely NO ROLE in a Christian wedding. Read the Scripture. Marriage is purely a FAMILY AFFAIR. Parents bless it, not pastor or priest. Even the wedding Christ attended was at a HOME and He was invited as a GUEST!
Read the Scripture. A Christian wedding goes like this:

1. You find a girl
2. You ask her to marry you
3. She says yes
4. You inform parents
5. You leave your parents house
6. You have a feast you can afford
God made it simple. Man complicated it! #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets

Omokri exposes government’s alleged secret intentions for jailing Bobrisky

Published

on

Reno Omokri, a Nigerian socio-political commentator, has stirred up controversy with his recent assertions regarding the undisclosed reasons behind the government’s decision to imprison the popular crossdresser Bobrisky.

Taking to his social media platform, the former presidential aide claimed that the government’s underlying motive for sentencing Bobrisky was to suppress the emerging cross-dressing phenomenon in Nigeria.

In a statement shared on his social media page, Reno Omokri alleged that the Nigerian government orchestrated Bobrisky’s arrest under the pretext of charges related to Naira abuse. He implied that the authorities strategically used this pretext to crack down on the growing trend of cross-dressing, all while avoiding direct confrontation that could lead to repercussions from Western powers.

In his words;

“What happened with Bobrisky just shows you the savviness of Nigeria compared to other nations and the intellectual response to governing on display by the current administration.

“The Nigerian government obviously wanted to clamp down on the trending cross-dressing culture in Nigeria. But the government was also aware of the fact that any direct move in that regard would earn it the whip of the Western powers.

“The Tinubu administration was in a dilemma. How to deal with Bobrisky for being a cross-dresser but not to make it about his being a cross-dresser. And this is where you have to respect the subtlety of the Tinubu administration. They found a creative genius way.

“Bobrisky violated a law against the abuse of the Naira. That is why a first-time offender committed an offence that even government officials engaged in during Buhari’s son’s wedding, and, despite pleading guilty, was sentenced to six months in prison.

“In fact, there is more video evidence of Naira abuse via spraying at the wedding of no less a person than Abdul Aziz Malami, the son of Abubakar Malami, SAN, Nigeria’s Former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice. And the scapegoating of Bobrisky has worked. Since his arrest, have you seen any of his ‘colleagues’ prancing about?

“We used to see them almost daily on blogs and social media. The traditional media, too, could not have enough of them. They got the memo. They have run for cover since the Chairwoman answered to the gender of male in court when asked to state ‘her’ gender.”

 Reno Omokri Blast those mocking death of T.B. Joshua

Notable author and ex-political aide, Reno Omokri condemns those taking pleasure at badmouthing the late man of God, Pastor T.B. Joshua.

Since the death of Pastor T.B. Joshua, there have been different judgemental opinions about the life of the preacher as some individuals directly rejoice over his death.

According to Reno Omokri, it is a very ‘unChristlike’ thing to judge people after their death when they cannot defend themselves.

In his words;

“Whilst he lived, I never said anything about him. Neither good nor bad. Not because I did not like him, but because I do not know where his powers came from. So, rather than say what I do not know, I kept mute. But now that he is dead, let him be. It is unChristlike to celebrate death or mock the departed. But beyond being unChristlike, it is also ungentlemanly to wait until someone is dead before you attack him. If you must attack, do so while he yet lives, that he may have a chance to defend himself.

Scripture asks us to “rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn”-Romans 12:15.

Hebrews 9:27 says “each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.” Now that he has died and is facing judgment, stop usurping God’s place. Either keep quiet, or mourn him. Do not judge him.”

“Keep quiet or mourn; do not judge him” – Reno Omokri slams those mocking death of T.B. Joshua.

#BBNaija: Reno Omokri attacks Nigerian youths over Sunday night’s eviction show

Reno Omokri, former presidential aide, on Sunday berated Nigerian youths over the attention they pay to the eviction of housemates of the Big Brother Naija show.

Omokri said poverty would reduce in Nigeria if youths invested more in rice venture than paying attention to the eviction of BBNaija housemates.

The former presidential aide stated this in a tweet on Sunday.

“The price of rice has increased by 60% since July when #BBNaija started. Many youths have made millions buying rice from Kebbi and Jigawa and selling it in Lagos and Port Harcourt. But, all you can boast of at that time is being up to date on BBN!

“You are so focused on who gets evicted from the #BBNaija house. If only you were as focused on getting poverty evicted from your life.

“For 2 months, you suspended your life to focus on BBN. Others used that time to suspend poverty from their life,” he tweeted.

His comment is coming at a time Prince and Kiddwaya were evicted from the reality television show after polling the lowest scores.
