WATCH THIS VIDEO: Ander Herrera Sends Derby day Message to Man Utd fans
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has sent a message to supporters ahead of this weekend’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard has played against archrivals Manchester City on four occasions since his arrival in 2014, winning two, drawing one and suffering one loss.
In his video message, Herrera insists the players will need the full backing of the fans if they are to get one over on Pep Guardiola’s men.
He said: “Hi guys, the derby is coming and I wanted to share this video with you.
“I’ve been here for two years and played four of these games. I’ve had two wins, one draw and a loss, so it’s not so bad.
“We all know, the players, how important this game is for you, the supporters, the derby of Manchester.
“We are going to try our best and make our supporters proud. But we need our supporters to push us over the the line at Old Trafford. It’s very important to us, when we feel your support.
“I hope we can have a fantastic day at Old Trafford, and hopefully Manchester is red again.”
