PHOTOS: Suspected Boko Haram Financier Nabbed By Nigerian Troops.

In a related development, troops have also intercepted and arrested a suspected Boko Haram financier and stimulants dealer, Mohammed Maina.

Maina was arrested in Bama, Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

The suspect, a native of Ngurosoye, came from Shuari village in Bama Local Government Area.

He was arrested with a cash of N1 million and some items.

Investigation by the military revealed that Mohammed supplies the Boko Haram militants kolanuts and other items, including stimulants.

He further revealed that kolanut is in high demand among the terrorists as it keeps them active at night.

A statement by the military said it was apparent also that Maina plies the Maiduguri-Dikwa-Kulli axis where he gathers monetary and other materials contributions from Boko Haram sympathizers along and sends same to terrorists camps.

The statement by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, said: “We are glad to report that troops morale remains very high and they are ever ready to continue with their duty in the most professional and responsive manner.”
