Ice Spice has probably had the hottest year of all the rap divas vying for the public’s attention right now. Though some said she was an industry plant, Spice’s seemingly overnight success with “Feelin’ U (Munch)” in the summer of 2022 left the world impressed. However, as her accomplishments in the intervening period have shown, Spice is far from a one-hit wonder.

She performed at international events and worked with Nicki Minaj during the summer. But Spice is heading down under, where she’s been blowing stages all over Australia, while the Bronx’s weather gets frigid. The 23-year-old’s most recent performance was in Sydney over the weekend. She performed for her audience while wearing her customary booty-baring pleated miniskirt, but it was a dangerous choice as her pyro effects almost burned her skin as she twerked.

The “Deli” hitmaker belts out “Princess Diana” on the third slide of the aforementioned post, bending forward to show off her amazing booty. Spice is first unfazed by the flames, but after a few more blasts, she turns around and screams “Whoa” into her microphone as the music keeps playing. In another section of her photo dump, the style icon referenced a widely shared edit of herself dancing on the Kevin James meme that went viral last month, taking a cue from Sexyy Red and T-Pain.

In addition to her Australian performance, Ice Spice is having a great start to October because of the excitement surrounding her Variety cover story. Some admirers think the New Yorker rekindled her long-standing rivalry with Latto in the interview with the site, citing other artists who identify as “girl’s girls” but behave like “b**ches” behind the scenes.
